One of our fave hotels in Philly. We were able to get upgraded to a suite with a great view on a high floor! Start here is always welcoming and accommodating- the wording drink is a nice touch! Everything was in good working order and well appointed in style and comfort. We were in good walking distance to the Convention center ( auto show) and great restaurants. Def a beautiful modern hotel.

The location was perfect for my stay. The room was excellent, I would have given it 5 stars for the room. However, the drapes needed minor repairs. This is something housekeeping should address when they see something needing to be repaired in a room. The service was on point as well as my stay. I definitely will be coming back for another visit when I am in town.

You won’t be disappointed staying at the W! The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and I could stare out the window and people-watch for hours. Those skyline views are to die for! The lobby also had the best coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel — so smooth! Whether you’re coming for a staycation or visiting Philly from out of town, the W is the place to be!

Good evening Google Family. This is my very first time here. This is a luxury hotel complete with all of the amenities. I visited because I left my phone in my Lyft ride. Nathan is the manager here and he helped me with my issue. He let me use his phone to contact Lyft. Nathan assists the guests here with their checking in and checking out and valet parking. Nathan suggested that I sit inside and get warm. This hotel is extremely expensive. I cannot talk about the rooms or the food or drinks since I did not stay here. I can say that Nathan stayed with me the entire time while I was waiting for my Lyft driver, Yanna, to bring back my phone, I had a good experience here and Yes Yanna did bring back my phone. God is so so good to me. I made a new friend here - Nathan. Nathan was so kind to me, so friendly and pleasant. I appreciated his help so much and of course I am so so happy that my phone was returned to me, safe and sound. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and Fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.

We went to Philly for a fun little trip in the summer and decided to upgrade to a suite when we arrived at check in. While we waited in line, staff had offered water or a paloma. The spa is beautiful and amazing! The room we had had such a beautiful bathroom with a soaking tub and seperate shower. There's a curtain the opens up into the "bedroom" which we left open, but there are seperate glass walls for both the shower and toilet. We also had a seperate half bathroom located right by the door. The views were incredible and so was the decor and lighting. We treated ourselves to the bottles of liquor, as well as the shower steamers and adult kit that they had offered. I believe the front desk had said the lobby turns into a club at night. Very cool. We were quite high in the building (43rd floor) so there was no complaints of noise. I absolutely loved this place. Staff was helpful, waiters were so friendly, and housekeeping was great! We'll definitely come back again for the suite.

I submitted this review on the Marriott Website as well: Overall, I was fine with this stay, but not sure I will choose the W when I visit Philadelphia again. Please see below for my pros and cons. Pros: - Rooms are clean and spacious (not small as is expected in the city, we had a corner room) - Views from the high floors are great way to see the city - The room and the hotel itself have awesome vibes; cool art, contemporary style. - Ideal location for seeing a lot in Philly. Walkable area with lots going on. - Easy check-in/out. (We got a late check out) - High quality and accommodating Staff - Great gym ("FIT") for a city hotel - Heated pool Cons: - Friday night means drunk wedding guests in this part of Philly. It was loud and impossible to sleep well with loud guests opening and closing the very heavy room doors well past 2am. - Bed quality (old and uncomfortable) - No doors on showers, this is a class fancy hotel thing that I just don't understand. - Traffic surrounding the hotel is AWFUL, if you need to get somewhere give yourself at leas 20-30 extra minutes to catch an Uber or collect your car. This is not the Hotels fault, just a natural part of its location that is worth mentioning. If the W Philadelphia's goal is to deliver on this statement: "playful, luxury hotel experience through unique design and entertainment." then I think a 7/8 our of 10 rating is appropriate due to a lacking in the "luxury" part of that statement. The bed, pillows, and linen need updating, the towels and robes have been washed a thousand times, the hairdryer and ironing board/iron are at least 15 years old. At least one of our light fixtures was broken (we told the front desk at check out) and the sinks are dated and fraying - upgrades are obviously overdue. For how expensive this hotel is, I do expect more.

This hotel is incredible! The gentlemen at valet were so sweet and made a great first impression. Fay helped us get checked in and she was so welcoming! She recommended things in the area and was incredibly personable. The room and view were absolutely stunning. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Philly and we will certainly be staying there again!

Our stay was wonderful. The dining at Dolce was wonderful. Keith and Claudio provided exceptional service as we dined and ensured that we were properly satisfied with our meals. Please request them if possible when dining at Dolce. The rooms were immaculate and the ambience was astonishing!
